Review the complete history

Bring together the assessment, emergency arrangements, completed checks, certificates, incidents and changes. Identify missing evidence and open or recurring defects.

Transfer open work explicitly

List each open action, owner, target, interim arrangements and evidence still needed. Make sure the next coordinator can find the documents and authorised contacts.

Start the next volume clearly

Retain this volume and record the next book reference. Update the premises schedule and inventories when required; do not carry old assumptions into a new year without review.

Use with your premises procedure

This guide supports the printed record. It does not replace the fire risk assessment, system instructions, required specialist records or competent assessment. Work within your training and authority.
