Health and safety laws apply to all businesses. As an employer, or a self-employed person, you are responsible for health and safety in your business. Health and safety laws are there to protect you, your employees and the public from workplace dangers.

Managing health and safety doesn’t have to be complicated, costly or time-consuming. If you have taken reasonable steps to prevent accidents or harm to your employees (and the injury or illness was caused after 1 October 2013), you shouldn’t have to pay compensation.

Under the Health & Safety legislation employers are legally required to provide themselves and/or their employees adequate Health & Safety Training.
It places a duty on all employers "to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work" of all their employees. Who Should Complete This Course?
​
​Everyone who is employed needs to know how to work safely and without risks to health and must be provided with clear instructions and information. This course provides adequate training at low risk work places, for your employees.

Assessment
​
Our training material is accessible at a time that suits you and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete followed by the online assessment where you will then complete a multiple choice question paper. The answers are marked automatically so you will instantly know whether you have passed. If you don't pass first time you can take the test as many times as you need with no further costs.
​
Certification
​
On successful completion of your course you will be able to download and print your 12 month certificate. This course provides you with an accredited CPD Certificate that can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
