FOOD HYGIENE LEVEL 2 ONLINE CPD COURSE
By law, all food handlers are required to have an up to date and current understanding of the basic principles of food hygiene and know how to work safely within their work environment, whether this is their employment premises, customer premises or transportation to keep the food they serve and deliver free from contamination.

Regulations

Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs and The Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006 set out the basic hygiene requirements for all aspects of your business, from your premises and facilities to the personal hygiene of your staff. One of the key requirements of the law is that you must be able to show what you do to make or sell food that is safe to eat and have evidence of this.

You must put in place ‘food safety management procedures’ based on the principles of HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control point).
