LEVEL 2 FIRST AID FOR
SPORT (RQF) QUALIFICATION
This course provides learners with the opportunity to develop knowledge and practical skills to enable them to recognise and respond with appropriate actions when sports injuries occur.
We can tailor this course dependent on the learners’ sporting activities, covering common injuries and illnesses resulting from many sports such as football, running, cycling or rugby. Learners will gain knowledge and confidence in their skills to better understand the requirements of assessing and prescribing the best course of action to become an effective first aider in a sports situation.
Why Attend This Course?
This Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved First Aid for Sport course is designed for learners who have achieved, or are concurrently studying, a level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid and wish to apply this in a sports context. Learners might be employed, seeking employment or wishing to use the qualification in a leisure context. This course will provide a comprehensive set of practical skills needed to become confident, giving both the ability and knowledge to deal with sport related first aid emergencies.

Where Can I Learn?

Do I Need Previous Experience
Learners must be 16+ and should have achieved, or be concurrently taking, a Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid to attend. All course material and equipment will be provided.
Continuous observations, questions and answers throughout the course by one of our highly qualified and experienced trainers, followed by an independent practical based exam on the final afternoon of the course, ensure all learners feel confident in achieving their Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation approved qualification and certificate, valid for 3 years.
